Mosfet and Motor for a SP120.

hello,
I recently bought a avalon mk18 mod 0 that I upgraded with a sp120.
I'm using a LI-ION 11.1V 1000mah 12C battery and everything is stock.
Firstly, I would like to know if a mosfet is really necessary for what I have now. CKW MOSFET Switch is what I'm getting if needed.
Secondly, I want to get a better trigger response and maybe a little higher ROF.(it is now at 17bbs per sec.)
This is why I'm considering buying a motor.
which one of these is the best for a SP120 without stripping my gears?
1) King Arms infinite torque up
2) GP M120
3) GPM140

thanks!

You need a MOSFET or you will have to change your trigger group and probably wires every 5000BBs.

And any of the motors you listed will be better than what you have. You LiPo might be a bit small... You should already have over 20RPS with that kind of battery and a somewhat decent motor.

thanks,
But WGC tod me that if I installed one of these motors, my gears will tear down quickly.
They said that I'll have to change for a sp130 and cut selector gear teeth.
Is that really necessary?

.....Well there you have it, never listen to WGC shop ...ever.
Stick with the SP120 spring, make sure you remove at least half the first tooth after the pickup tooth on the piston (some pistons already have this done G&G comes to mind) to prevent premature sector gear engagement and run a G&P M160 motor, tons or torque and a nice ROF with an 11.1v battery.
