Star L85A2 Carbine Battery

Hey guys,
I've been working on a British Royal Marine's Loadout and I'm really considering the Star L85A2 Carbine, but I heard stories that the battery runs out too quickly for long skirmishes/MilSim Games. I'm wondering if there was a better battery that I could use for the Star L85A2 Carbine.
Anyways thanks in advance.

I have a STAR L85A2, and I had a 8.4v 2000 mah battery and it held real fine for a full day of skirmish, or milsim

Personally, I use the 8.4V 4500mah NiMH from onlybatterypacks. It's a bitch to put in but once there it lasts. I splurged and bought a spare. That way you don't run out.

That's a good sight @ http://www.onlybatterypacks.com I'll make sure to book mark that. Is this the battery you mentioned -->http://www.onlybatterypacks.com/show...temID=11711.25 Looks like a good fit for the Carbine front end. I have a Carbine front end as well but I use the standard front end currently, which I use a Hot Power Lipo 7.4v 1600mah 12C, seems to last quiet some time. One suggestion though, when you have the good battery, see if you can make the battery leads longer so you can get at them to charge the battery in the rifle with out having to take the front end off on the Star L85. I have done this to most of the batteries I use for mine ,but I do not like charging batteries in this fashion in case the battery has a problem and burns up the rifle in the process!
