I've had that same one for the last 5 years, sort of needed it seeing as I carry between 15 and 20 mags.

I believe why you haven't seen many of them is because it's over priced and not worth it. I would rather have my standard bb loader that doesn't require battery or any maintenance. But if it floats your boat or you carry a duffel bag full of mags out on the field, I can see the benefit.

You need to mod one of the gear 'bushings' for lack of words to call it. it tends to break and then lets the gear slip. If it breaks before you reinforce it, build it up with JB Weld or a high temp epoxy to fill in the area that broke. Hard to explain but if I can dig mine out, I'll post a picture.
Also be careful not to use undersized BB's. I used BB's that were smaller than Bastards and 2 managed to get caught in one slot in the main gear. Since it's powered, it pulled the 2 BB's through after breaking one of the teeth. It has not worked since because it will continually jam. |

Wouldn't that tend to asplode your mags if you try to overload them (which would seem to be quite easy with that loader) ?

Anyway, when the mag is full, The loader kicks the mag off. Of course if you hold the mag too tight you'll put more strain on the motor and gearing. |

just briefly looked over the sight.. does it really have issues with .25 bbs or greater weight?

just loaded 6 mid's with .25 seemed to be working, guessing by what everyone is saying might have to mod it or fix it at one point but still working for me right out of box... |
