G&G Rk-47 rear sling mount repair
Hi!
I just wanted to give you some tips on How to repair the rear sling mount of the Full steel Full wood G&G Rk-47. "Sorry I didn't took pictures when I repaired it but it's pretty obvious how to do it." This is happening on almost every Rk47...you put your sling on your brand new ak airsoft, go in a game, put it on your shoulder then...*BANG* first drop on the floor...WOW! You look if everything works again...yes!..pfiouu...then you go on the internet to see if there are any other users who got the same problem and SUPRISE! 100 posts of the same problem. You look for solutions (STRONG SOLUTIONS)...SURPRISE 0 post...but now there's mine! Ok: What you need: 1 x Bobepine Some hot glue Some tape Screwdriver Allen key Pliers or just strong fingers loll 1- Take the gearbox out of the receiver. (if you don't know how, look for tutorials on youtube...REALLY SIMPLE!! 4 x screws + 4 allen screw that's all; 2- Take a Bobepine, (hehe got this idea cause my Girlfriend always loose them in the room nvm).. 3- Cut it in 2, to obtain 1" maximum of a straight line, piece of metal. (get off those little plastic nub on the tips); The next steps need to be done fast because of the hot glue. If you take to much time and the glue dries before you finished, remove it and clean it with hot water and restart. 4-Put some hot glue in the metal part that get's into the body; 5- Replace the sling mount into the body. The hole should be facing toward the muzzle so it will be easier for you in the next few steps; 6- Insert the bobepine into the hole using pliers or your fingers, (watch for hot glue! it burns hehe); If everything is done correctly, the rear sling mount shouldn't ever come off again. But to be sure; 7- When the hot glue dries, put some tape into the receiver, over the bobepine to make sure that it won't move and also that nothing will get in the way of the fire-selector plate; 8- Remove the hot glue that could got to the outside of the receiver. Now if you want to be sure that the "D" shaped metal piece doesn't open up because of the weight on it, make a tie-wrap bridge with 3 "black" tie-wraps. Like that: I hope it will help you to get a sling on that crazy looking airsoft!! |
