Help locating part for ACM 6mm M500 Shotgun
A customer brought in what I believe to be an ACM 6mm M500 Shotgun Airsoft Gun (Short) as sold by AirsoftGI in the US. I wasn’t able to find any marking on it. It is missing the barrel heat shield but it can still give service without that. It had a broken cocking arm: easy enough to find and replace. However, the magazine tube cluster has a pot metal part that is held on via a screw to the end of the cluster. This part surrounds the magazine and acts as a bushing to help align and center the magazine cluster. This part is broken into 3 pieces and one part is missing. Does anyone have a suggestion on where or how I can find a replacement part for it?
Cheers

I had an ACM M500 and mine broke too.
You should take the parts to a machinist and have him make one out of aluminium or even nylon/delrin. That part is the load point for the magasine tubes and it will break again even if you replace it. The long version of the M500 does not have heat shield. If you bought replacement lever arms, you will probably break them again. Real M500 levers will fit without any mod and are impossible to break. I had some installed on mine and 1-hand cocking was not even an issue. |
