Can't do math

A LBE I've had sitting around for a while ...
 My rig I'll be using for the Type 91 Rifle I ordered. 2X Original Early Vietnam M14 magazine pouches. Compass/FA pouch with "boo boo" bandages, Polysporin, etc 1Qt Canteen ALICE IFAK Pouch with Hard Case (Probably will fill it with spare BBs) Once I get my gun, I'll need some sort of Radio Pouch for a FRS, a dual smoke grenade pouch for a Tornado Grenade and that gas charger/tank. Additionally, when I get a pistol a holster and magazine pouch thinking about the Bianchi UM841. However I might possibly need new magazine pouches for the AR type magazines. Due to the fact I had originally purchased the magazine pouches to go with my SAI M1A. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Dimitri |

okay i'll bite since I like alice set ups (cuz they're old school). I suggest you get the AR ALICE pouches... they can be found in most surplus stores and I dont think they're that expensive. Get another canteen and carrier and put the IFAK between the two canteens. If you want more places to put more mags, get a SAW pouch for your ALICE or a buttpack. all in all I do like the set up. Its not really low drag but its simple and somewhat cheap!

Yah, thanks for the suggestions.
 After I get my gun I've thought about "upgrading" to FMCO's pouches and harness as it seems like it may be more comfortable load carrying wise. I have used MOLLE gear for hunting, but the ALICE set up works for me better. Dimitri |
