I always call those machine screws. VFC has mailed parts like that to me in the past.

I lost the same screws over the summer. I took one to facca fasteners, one of those 'every screw under the sun' places yet no luck. Apparently the flange on the screw head is at a steeper angle than any other screw of that size.
Have you tried Mach 1 in Toronto? They distribute VFC and may have better luck getting you the parts.

Take one from the other side out and head over to the airport. Find a place that supplies tools and parts for aircraft and they should be able to match it.

I had the same problem, but I got my hands on some.
I'm not at home right now so I can't check if I still have them, but if anyone needs them send me a PM.
