KA-M4-20-S01 King Arms receiver set VS. Modify MB-02-01 Reinforced Ver. 2 Gear Box – TORUS 7MM
In ref: KA-M4-20-S01 King Arms receiver set VS. Modify MB-02-01 Reinforced Ver. 2 Gear Box – TORUS 7MM
Has anyone had any experience in trying to combine these two components? I find in the lower receive that the gear box is so wide that the selector rubs too tight against the right side and makes switching modes very jerky. And when trying to assemble the upper receiver the gear box is so thick in certain areas that it almost won’t slid together and if it does then it locks in place and is almost impossible to take apart again. My thoughts after studying this is to give up on using the Modify gear box and use a different brand that is not so beefy. Modify TORUS gear boxes are a great product and work really well in say ECHO1 metal receivers but in the case of the lock back bolt King Arms Receiver not so good without tons of grinding and even then perhaps still not an ideal match. However, I would like to hear from others if any has expereince in this matter.
