Element Parts?? (Internals)

Hi,
I've recently browsed through some airsoft parts, and stumbled to a Element Tune Up Kit, which I can get for $11. However, I think that this is too good to be true and looked up some reviews on it; the reviews are mixed. Some people say that the parts are a piece of crap while others say that it outperforms TM
like this review
and
this one
.
Has another here used Element parts and are they reliable?
Thanks

I've used Element parts and in my experience they've been great. Some people will say otherwise, but I put a torque up gearset in an AUG I had, and they performed flawlessly and had pretty much no signs of wear after 7000-8000 rounds.

I've also used their pistons, bushings, and wiring sets.

Has anyone else used them? I also spotted a 6.04 mm tightbore barrel for only $12 and if Element parts do perform like Styrak says, it would be a terrific deal.

Only tried out their M4 hopup unit and blue rubber, love them both.

Element parts are GARBAGE.

Low quality materials, low quality machine work.

You'd be lucky to get a full set of parts that worked well together.

A lot of people on this forum also say that Krakens are the peak of airsoft gun performance.

I've used Element parts. The pistons were crap. The anti-reversal latch was crap. The bushings were crap. The wiring harnesses (v2 and v3), on the other hand, were actually decent, even though I stripped them to use for a MOSFET trigger job.

I've installed element gears for a customer before and they don't even fit onto their own bushings. My experience working with their parts has been nothing but disappointments.

I got a set of gear/piston and ended installing an old worn TM set instead because they never fitted. The spur was crooked too.

The piston material is very easy to break and has no give at all.

Element parts are reliably low cost, low manufacturing spec parts that tend to be junk when you're looking for a tight setup. I wouldn't use them at all for anything.

But hey...it's your call. $11 ain't a whole lot to just buy and try. If it works well enough for you and you're happy...what else matters? Tell everyone else to suck balls then.

A little known fact about Element piston is that they are near indestructible: YouTube - Element piston strenght test Basically your gear's teeth will probably strip before the piston if they're crap.
They make great motors as well. I can vouch for the high speed one since I use it in my p90 with a 11.1v lipo, I can confirm that my P90 gets close to 40 RPS. http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...?topic=89862.0

I got one of their 9mm bearings drop-in gearbox for a very attractive price (I had a 21% volume discount, plus 15% fidelity discount at that shop...) to be canibalized for spare parts... and since my G&G now turns with zero resistance (a gear probably got stripped...) I'll try the Element gearbox as a whole before repairing my G&G.

Although out of the box I can say their nozzle has a strange shape...
