Type 56 or Type 56-1
Hey Guys,
Im having a bit of trouble finding out whether to purchase the Real Sword Type 56 or the paratrooper version of the 56-1. I know that I am personally not a fan of their type 56-2. I just want to know from those that have it or have tried both which do they prefer and why? Also how solid is the stock on the 56-1, i have tried some previous airsoft underfolder AK's and they have been at times a bit wobbly on the stock.

get the full stock,
both my guys that've had the under folders have managed to break their stocks (mind you they're both 180+ pound guys and they both bailed on it pretty hard) But the full stock is better to install the trigger master in lol |

I'm one with a broken (now no stock) I didn't BAIL on my gun. I was running around at Claybank, and noticed it has missing a piece well into the game.
If you want the wood style, get a full stuck. The reason I went with a 56-1, is the placement of the sling loops. I HATE how they are on a full stock. If I could go back and start over, I would have actually gotten a 56-2 with the side folding. Love the side folding guns. Too much money to bother with at the moment.

I have the 56-2 and love the stock. Very strong. Unless your set on the wood I would go with the 56-2.

I think the underfolder would be stronger if there was a shim on the right side and the screws were tightened on the left side. I tightened the screws and it took care of the horizontal wobble, but it could use a special shim on the right side too.
I've heard about the full stock cracking, but then again you could probably get a real steel Russian stock to replace it. The side folder is the strongest. Honestly though, no matter which one you get, you're getting a really good gun. Go with the style you like. Last edited by Kid; September 1st, 2010 at 11:17.. |

I got the 56-1 RS, i'll admit there is some wobble in the underfolding stock but then again the real AK has the same wobble. With this said the stock is solid and when it does break off authentic and Real Sword replacements are $20 US online.
I personally went with the 56-1 because when you do fold the stock its easier to move around in outdoors... But whichever one you get, you will love it they are both amazing! Last edited by Mladen; September 6th, 2010 at 12:17.. |
