CA m15a4 electrical problem
Hey guys, I recently started trying to fix my gun after it stopped firing last summer. I figured it was an electrical problem so when I opened the gearbox up, I immediately saw that the wire connector plug was not making a good connection to complete the circuit when the trigger is pulled, and it actually turned all carbonized and black. It actually caused sparks to fly when the trigger is pulled, only making a good connection sometimes. It looks like the plug is not being pushed forward enough to complete the circuit. Stupid me, all I did to "fix" this problem was to clean the connection until it was just copper again... After putting everything back together, the gun fired 5 times and then broke again... Since I know what the issue is, what would you guys recommend I do to fix it? Do I need to buy a whole new wiring kit and plug, or is it a trigger issue? I don't know much about CA gearboxes so I'm not sure if it was possible that the plug just melted away or something.
Thanks! |

Just buy a new switch assembly.

I've been using a Modify one and it's been doing it's job without any issues. If you have money, get an ASCU. Pretty cool device but try and keep using the arl just in case.
