Bought From Airsoft Panda or Red Wolf Airsoft Before?

Hello fellows I'm hoping to purchase from these two online stores these days, Airsoft Panda and Red Wolf Airsoft, but hope if someone/anyone can tell me if they have experience or heard of people who have experience dealing with the two? Reason being I got scammed by the famous (or infamous I later discovered) WWIIGuns a few months ago (lost $1500+) so I am really careful now buying from dealers I have not dealt with before. So does anyone know or can tell me something about these two? Are they legit/honest/won't steal our money? Thanks

I've never heard of airsoft panda, but redwolf is great. Good prices, fast shipping (especially for hong kong). My only gripe with them is that they could do with a little more organisation on their site, but scrolling through a few pages isn't too bad to find what you want. I usually end up finding something else I want doing that anyways.

Um so you reside in canada... If you do...Scammed? Try seized. You can't import airsoft guns. Read up on the forums for importing policies and age verification

*edited by myself as it came off ass-ish

User is not from Canada.

Ive never purchased from airsoft panda before but I have dealt with redwolf and have had an enjoyable experience dealing with them.
Airsoft Panda offers payment through paypal so I would suggest setting yourself up an account if you dont already have one. Paypal is a fantastic tool should a buyer need to file a dispute with a seller.

Thanks guys, hope to purchase from Airsoft Panda though coz they got kind of a better deal compare to the other.

I'm from Vancouver but moved to Taiwan last summer to teach, will probably stay for another 2 so might as well purchase some airsoft items here. I know I cannot take 'em back with me but I have friends here willing to lend me their storage for God knows how long. Already bought a few rifles here they're cheap compare to our Canadian prices!

I've done literally dozens of deals through Redwolf; never a problem. Never used Panda.

Oh, and FWIW, WWIIGuns is owned by Miki Nakamura, so there's no surprise you were ripped off; do a search on this site for "Props Canada" and you can read how he took $40-60K in our money through a badly-organized group order, and how some people have never been repaid.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info.

Yes Miki is the one I emailed and talked on the phone with once (til he got my money and never answered ever again). Never buy from him.

Just made a purchase with Airsoft Panda, hope all works well! Will update with info. By the way Airsoft Panda chose TNT Speed Post as shipping method, they say it's more problem free with customs, anyone know that postal service? Will update with further info.

TNT Post? Never heard of them but apparently they're based in the Netherlands.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TNT_N.V.

Its major competitors include FedEx, United Parcel Service (UPS), DHL, and national post carriers such as US Postal Service and Royal Mail. TNT aircraft operate under the IATA code of TAY (TNT Airways).
They seem pretty legit IMO.

PS: Tokyo Hobbies is another scam company setup by Miki, while Tokyo Model Company is a retailer in the HK (I assume they have a shop setup on the "airsoft street" in HK). Don't confuse the two even though the names are really close.

TNT is a logistics company that ships worldwide, based in the Netherlands. They have offices scattered across Canada, usually dealing with larger logistics. I had thought TNT had been sold completely toi CEVA logistics, but I could be wrong.

Thanks guys, I have no doubt with TNT Express postal, it's the dealer I am more concerned...

And some update... Today I checked my email and Airsoft Panda sent me a mail, telling me my parcel will be picked up tonight (this would be Taiwan time, same timezone as Hong Kong), below is the content:

Dear xxx,

Good afternoon! The TNT express would pick up your order at 7:00 pm tonight =)

And here is the track number : GD7xxxxxxxxWW

you would be able to track the parcel by typing in the track number at the top of the right hand corner at the following link when the parcel is picked up :
http://www.tnt.com/express/en_hk/site/home.html

Have a nice day!

Best regards,
xxx

Out of curiosity I copied the tracking number and tracked it, and the weird thing... the tracking number is someone else's, dated back March 4th (and delivered 8th) of this year (2010). So I phoned Airsoft Panda and talked with the staff and she said that "the tracking number would be the same, but the status will be replaced with my order, with the same tracking number but a different reference number", (which I asked on the phone for and she gave. but the one she read me is five digits, while on the TNT tracking site the previous person's reference number is 15 digits long). I didn't know what else to ask, so I said thank you and hung up. But I have a few curiosities:

1. Is it possible that I have the exact tracking number as someone else who used the postal service, five months ago? I postal companies always provide new tracking numbers, so the previous ones can be put on file?

2. I always thought a tracking number is given AFTER the postal service shipped the item out, and not like how Airsoft Panda said on the phone: "this is your tracking number, the parcel would then be picked up by TNT around 7:00pm tonight and the track number updated." Huh??

Can someone with experience buying from overseas or TNT Express tell me what's going on? The lady from Airsoft Panda told me to check back the TNT site after 4 hours (8:00pm here in Taiwan) for updated status. I will post back with updates, but any feedback would be appreciated, thank you.

Can vouch for redwolf airsoft, had many orders with them, they are very professional and very personal. They have good comms, ship fast and have great prices. Only once did they send me the wrong items; but the problem was resolved within hours and they had the correct part sent to me.

Hello, I checked on TNT again and I think it's the right info this time. Also got an update from Airsoft Panda saying my order is shipped. Now I'm really looking forward to receiving the item! Will post an unboxing thread when I got it.

P.S. Anyone know what I bought?
