G&G PMP5 Blowback Full Metal
Hello,
I already tried posting this in the newbie section but I haven't gotten any replies so i'll try my luck here. I am considering purchasing this mp5 from buyairsoft.ca as they have it listed at $299.99. This seems like a great deal for a full metal gun, however I am relativity new to airsoft and this will be my first non- crapsoft. Is this actually a good deal or would I be getting ripped off? BTW I don' really care about the blowback, I would actually prefer not to have it but the non-blowback version is strangely more expensive. Edit: Also is this a TM clone? I was looking to buy the flashlight foregrip from the same site. |

you'll be paying more to get the blowback running than the non. Blowback AEG's are just too prone to problems its not worth the 'savings'.
Also, dont buy from Buyairsoft, they support sales to minors. |

I don't really care about the blowback, if it breaks will the gun still work?

I think he's asking if the blowback is independent of the mechbox firing. My guess is no. It's a small sewing machine with a hundred tiny parts and an air piston in it.
Buy one without blowback or get a GBB |

I've looked into it a bit and apparently it is pneumatic blowback. Would that be connected?

Usually, G&G piston heads are shitty and have common compression issues. My best advice would be to get age verified and then look into the classified. You can then have access to airsoft guns that often come with some extra mags for about the same price of a new or a little bit more, depending of the upgrades/extras that comes with.

as for the OP google is your friend and there are lots of reviews out there on this gun. If you are 18+ then get AVed as you might find something in the classifieds that you like better for the same price/cheaper or a few bucks more depending on what the gun comes with.
