G&P WOC gbbr
Hi guys! I just built a entirely new GBBR with all G&P parts. However, the forward assist seems to be catching on the bolt causing it to return to battery slower. Anyone know what i can do? Thanks.

Check tolerances...and when all else fails...file!

I checked the tolerances. I don't really want to file the forward assist, as it was made that way, i'm sure something is wrong but i don't know what. The forward assist is rubbing against the side of the bolt causing it to sometimes get stuck but it easily moves back into place by itself. I guess you could say the BCG kind of lags when i press the bolt release.

Yeah! Problem solved! The inside of the forward assist was rubbing against the C pin causing it to be jammed in the forward position thus causing the rubbing on the BCG. I filed a but of it off, re-installed the assist, and BAM problem solved.

Airsoft components are not know for its tight manufacturing tolerances...that is why I always suggest "check and file."
You should have seen what I had to do to the SR47 Kit from Hurricane... |
