KJW MK1 magazine : Shoots air back out of valve

Hey, just got a KJW MK1 in the mail, previous owner left the magazine charged it seems. I didn't know how much so I decided to hit it with a bit more propane before firing it.

I end up getting sprayed in the face with a cloud of propane, and the gun wont hold a charge anymore. Just shoots the gas back out at me.

Should I just look into replacing the valve? Or is there some airsoft voodoo magic I can preform on this to get this going again?

Edit : Nevermind, I just swapped the valve out with another gas pistols valve. works fine!
