Thoughts on Echo 1?
Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the sport and I have a few questions, Most of the reviews or private sales of airsoft guns I have seen on here are about Tokyo Mauri guns, or other specific guns like G&G, Classic Army, etc.
My question is, I've never seen any reviews of the variety of aeg's made by Echo 1. Has anyone seen/handled this product line, and what are your impressions? I'm considering buying an Echo 1 P90, and/or an Echo 1 SCAR, and not having heard anything, I'm a little unsure. Pricing wise, the pricepoint is low-average once you factor in shipping and such, and I dont want to be stuck with something that I'm going to regret. Thanks, Dave |

Echo1 rebrands other manufacturer's guns. That being said they're common in the US, so check on google you'll definitely find reviews.
FYI the Echo1 P90 is produced by Kart and the SCAR is produced by DBoys.

this site though full of reviews is not the only source you should be consulting. check google, you'll find a few youtube videos. Arniesairsoft (hopefully spelled right) is also a great site for reviews and such. do a little more digging and you should be able to find what you are looking for.
on a side note, i'm hoping when you said Quote:

yes, I'm buying in Canada, i'm new, but I'm not that new. LOL. I've worked for a few years in a profession that i'm up on my Importation law and know how sticky it is, I wouldn't try to circumvent it in any way,

I have an echo 1 P90 and I like it... I changed everything in the inside to Systema parts and Prometheus. I've seen a TM p90 and CA p90 and the only difference is the the body, other than that ECHO 1 p90 has better internals IMO. Except that echo 1 P90 shoots about 370 FPS+ w/ stock spring, you have to change the spring if you plan on playing indoors. CA p90 has the best hop up system, I changed my echo 1 p90 to CA hop up system. With the TM p90, you have to upgrade some parts like the spring and the bushings.

As noted, Echo 1 are rebrands of other guns intended for the American market. Most of their line is JG rebrands, with other ones like DBoys and A&K previously noted.
The only E1 gun I've owned was the E90. I've had it since release, and it still works flawlessly and hasn't had a thing changed on it. The stock battery doesn't hold much of a charge anymore, but that's expected from any battery that comes with a Chinese AEG anyway. I've owned a couple of JG guns, and IMO, out of the box they're great, and with minimal tuning, they can stand their own against any brand name. I also own an A&K SAW, and I'm of the same opinion. It's rock solid.

I have an echo 1 and a jg. Out of the box, not bad. With tuning, you get a top-rate gun for less.
