CYMA/Kalashnikov compatibility
Googled it, searched on ASC and couldn't find a good answer from a reliable source so let's try here.
What is and what isn't compatible with the Kalashnikov/CYMA AKM (the newest one with the Mikhail Kalashnikov seal of approval on the left side of the receiver haha) ? Mainly externals and accessories (receivers, wood furniture etc.). thanks Last edited by Huge; August 1st, 2010 at 23:52.. |

I have one of the Kalash Ak74s'. I installed an element metal body on it, though I had to grind some of the screw holes because they were mis-aligned, and I had to grind a few mm off the front hand guard.
I have more parts on the way...I'll keep you posted.

Cool, let me know.
Also, would the AIMS wood handguard fit on my Kalash/CYMA ? |

excellent. Also I have read that since you could rewire the AKM to run on a stick battery, you could then put a real steel stock. Any experience?
