Magpul PTS(clones?) real-cap PMAGs
I ordered a few from EBAirsoft.com(Link: http://www.ebairsoft.com/magpul-pmag...cs-p-1643.html), but before I say more, I should state that I think they might be clones. The reason I believe that is the fonts they've used for all of the lettering looks a lot like a font you'd see on a cheap chinese clone/toy, they have a space in the body where the maglevel window would be(exactly the same as the ACM hicap clone), not to mention they only cost me $40 for a pack of five(this is purely speculation, if someone knows otherwise feel free to correct me).
I have to say, I'm impressed. They fit nice, and are really durable. They also hold 30 rounds, which is a bonus for all of the realism buffs and race shooters out there. If you can get them, go for it! |

Those are the STAR versions, much cheaper ones.
They are "official" ones though. Just the cheaper official ones, made in one piece I believe. The more expensive 120 round PMAGS are actual polymer and about $25 each overseas. Also you could have figured that out by doing a tiny bit of searching Last edited by Styrak; July 23rd, 2010 at 00:58.. |

As I opened this thread, I thought someone might say they were STAR mags. I could have done some searching, but there's a spoon here with tasty information that I like.

Yeah those are Star green labels have fun with em they're prone to jamming.
I've thrown out about 3-4 cause they jammed like mad and there was no way to get the spring out. But then again that was the 80 rounders. |

I've used two out of the five, and didn't have one jam. The only downside is that they don't feed the last four rounds(at least mine didn't), which you'd think isn't bad but when you've only got 150 rounds loaded at a time like I do, that's almost a full mag wasted.

Most mags don't (They're the BB's in the feed tube and most mags don't have extended followers).

The price of realism and quality I guess.

I like my STAR green label ones. They jam only once I fill them with bbs and a tap on the side of a table/rock/gun/somebody else's head, un-jams them and then they are 100%

I just did a few torture tests with them, and didn't get any jamming. I even dropped them from my deck to the gravel below, and still no problems.
Does anyone know if PTS ranger plates will fit these? |
