Waridiot Aimpoint Micro T1 replica is waterproof

Ok im gonna say this once. I paintball. Im 16 so all i have for the time being till im 18 is paintball.
Anyways. I recently got one of these to see what i would get for 49$ with free shipping. I was presently surprised to see that i had gotten alot. The Aimpoint he sent me was completely Oring sealed. When i got my ebaybanned Aimpoint replica,no orings were on the damn thing at all plus it cost me 62$. So i thought Ooo Orings eh? I shall test. I took it too the bottom of my pool (about 12-14 feet deep)with the reddot turned on and thats where it stayed. On! Just wanted to share this with you guys if your worried about electronics frying and what not. Also i might add that my ebaybanned T1 broke the other month which is why i got this one. Heres some pics after the dive (If yall want ill get one of those waterproof disposable cameras and prove that it does work. My phone is not water proof) and thumbs up!

I couldnt find anymore info on this reddot in the search but if there is admins , do whatever you want with this post.

I wouldn't worry to much about rust.

I guess it's mostly plastic in there.

Pretty much every Aimpoints out there have sealed battery compartment.

I just don't have the guts to put my 60$ G&P Aimpoint in the pool

As long as the thing is water resitant. As our rifles are not waterproof.

I don't mind my stuff getting wet, but I try not to overdo it.

Nifty.

And maybe it's just me, but it looks like your dot is sitting a little high and to the left.

Lol...I've been a first hand witness to players submerging TM (no mosfet) ARs in creeks and ponds, bringing the guns out and firing them without problems (other than the first two shots spewed water as the barrel cleared). Mind you they had a loaded mag in the gun and a BB "Chambered".

I want to see the video of them cussing when opening and cleaning their gun after.

I've seen it done before. They insulated the batterie and wiring... The AEG shot fine. But the cleaning... and the rust after!

Rain and mud is OK with me, but full immertion: no way.

Yeah I thought they were fucked in the head too
I'm fine with rain, dew, snow and mud. Full submersion, I'll leave that to others.
