When rocking airsoft games, how many rounds do most people rock on average?

i did a night of scrims today and I ran each scrim with one 38 round pistol mag and never ran empty, but ive also taken 800+ rounds for my BB hose AEG, which I rarely use, pistol is more fun

depending on the type of game ( i.e. small skirmish's with lots of engagements/assaulting areas) i tend to go through 1000-2000 bbs in 8 hours.

I mean per round, not overall day.

I'm thinking of grabbing a gbbr 50 round mags. and getting 4 total. would 200 bbs per game be enough? Do you also know if the mags needs to be refilled with gas every 50 rounds? or can i carry a loader on me too to quickly load the existing gbb mags.

since you're saying 50 round im guessing you are using a WA based GBBR, so yes you have to refill it every time, but honestly you could run short scrims on ONE mag if you play it right, but 4 would be MORE than enough, i doubt youd ever go through that unless you are really trigger happy

Per round I would say I go through maybe 360 - 400 rounds... thats about 4 - 5 mags for me at around 90 bb's a mag.. but it also depends on the game you play.. some rounds I will go through double that.. other rounds I will maybe only use 1 full mag... depends on your playing style too.. I am always on the move and I am always supressing so that others can move up and they do the same for me. Best way is to buy several bags of bb's and go to a game to find out how many "you" will go through.

As others mentioned, it really depends on the game. For me, as few as 100 rounds to a little over 4000 in a day (playing terminator, lots of grenades or because it was zeon's target rich ZAWC)

At C3SK's Night game, I ran with 1 50rds Prowin Mag (My 2nd mag is in pieces atm) and 3 TM Hicapa mags.

In each case, we completed our objective, and I only had to reload my GBBR Mag once every 2 rounds (ie 25 rounds or less a game). Pistol was only used twice during prolonged rounds.

Learn to use semi and double tap.
Spraying BB's is like Masturbating in a bar... Sure it feels good at first, but then everyone else in the bar will not be impressed.

I our typical milsim, there is no rounds, only dynamic, continuous engagements.
In one engagement, if we can resupply, depending on the size and lenght of the raid, 200-300 rounds can be expended by shooter.

I think your question is more: how many mags you need? Then the answer is minimum 5 lowcaps. 10 is best. Have 6-8 on your vest, and the other in backup in a backpack.

Lowest for me was an eveing/night game, half an MP5 locap and four rounds from my rifle (after dark, 3 kills).............. highest was over 1200 for an evening/night urban ops game. So it really depends I suppose.

That question really depends on the style of play, the objectives, the target environment (is it rich or lean) and time engaged. I've played 7 hours and expended not a single round and I've gone through several bags at public games. Its situation, but, always take more than you think you'll need and it won't be an issue.
