Magpuls and SiG magazines
I've seen a lot of people using Magpuls on AR magazines, and I've been having a ton of trouble removing SiG 55X magazines out of their pouches because of the clip together tabs. I've been thinking about shaving them off completly. Anyway, I was wondering if one could use magpuls on SiG magazines. Does anyone have both sitting around so that they can try?

There is a Repro magpul that's more elastic i'm sure you could stretch it over.

SiG mags are a lot chunkier than AR mags, right? I seem to recall AR mags being pretty thin.

Might be able to use 7.62 magpuls on them.
Or just make some paracord ones like everyone used to. -Grant |

Yup, cut off the nubs... and make paracord magpuls, with black hockey tape, and then take a wax candle and rub the tape all over with the candle getting a wax coating on the tape. The mags nicely fit in M4 shingles without the nubs too.

I know the 7.62 vintage magpuls fit over the G36 magazines. Don't know if they're a comparable size to sig mags though...

I think G36 magazines are thinner than SIG magazines.

Is the candle wax supposed to keep the tape on? I take it you meant "cold" candle wax.
