Ok but where to start. Before making your choice and actually buying anyone of those guns, I suggest you search the word sniper on ASC. There you will find about 1000 threads where members ask questions about buying a sniper rifle as their first gun. While reading those threads you will notice a common trend where the more experianced members try to disuade the newer ones from getting a sniper rifle as their first gun. The reasons are numerous and as you will no doubt ignore my suggestion about doing a search I will condense the relative points.
DON"T Sniping in airsoft is not like in video games or in movies, it can be very boring to wait for someone to come into your kill area. Secondly unless your pour hundreds of dollars into a sniper platform they have the exact same range as any other gun, but without being able to match the rate of fire. You will be out gunned very quicky. Please heed this advice, wait a few more years to buy a gun. Get a good quality aeg as your first one, then after, once you are set for gear get a sniper platform if you are still interested. Most new players who go sniper first end up selling their gun at a loss and buying a aeg. Also until other players feel secure with you playing as a sniper as they shoot at a higher fps than aegs are allowed you will not be allowed to game it. Shooting with a hot gun a close range will/can result in injury.

Redwolf airsoft is in HK. Means outside Canada. Means you have not read the FAQs. Here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=40318 |

What part of "under aged" don't you understand?
Go back to teenage'd pursuits like highschool, sneaking beers and trying to touch a boob. Airsoft will be here when you are old enough. |

OMG...
You don't quite get it. If you buy that gun off craiglist, you will then shoot your friend. If you won't know what an L96 shooting 500 fps does to someone close range, I will explain you. Here: Uploaded with ImageShack.us In this picture, you can see an adult, with a BB stuck under his skin, because he was shot. The BB broke the skin and entered the hole. Now, this is a grown man. Means that they are consentent to shoot each other. I can tell you that I have seen situations where two adults where about to fight because of a too close shot. Now you are 14. Means that if you shoot your L96 at a friend and hurt him that way, his parent can and will probably go against yours. The problem is that media will get a hold of the story. Then suddenly all airsoft guns are lethal and must be removed. Thank you, we just lost the right to play soldier because you where stupid. But even more. What if your friend's parents decide to sue your parent (you are both underage, mean that you have nothing to say, your parents decide stuff). Under a year you could find yourself under childs protection and moved to an other family because you where stupid, and your parents would have a huge fine to pay. Hell you might end in juvi for assault with a weapon... By the way, I had an L96 before. I let my friends shoot at a target. Eventually, one shot the other in the arm while he was changing targets. The BB entered the skin. We took pliers to remove the BB, and had to cut open the skin a bit more to be able to get it out. Then the guy when to hospital and now has a scar similar to a cigarette burn mark. The target was at 55' from the gun... meaning that the range was maybe 50'. |

Once again you fail to understand, yes obviously wearing protection is better, but in the heat of the moment if your friend had the hot gun would you always trust then not to take a shot if it was close? Secondly the legality does not change, your parents could still be sued and your parents could still sue your friends parents. Where would you and your frineds play?

As you know, ASC strictly enforces their belief in 18+ y/o airsoft owners. Any help from guys on here that leads to you getting your hands on an airsoft will lead to infractions.
My suggestion, you have plenty of time to save up for a quality airsoft gun rather then buying cheap now and making it a "quality" build..a lot less headaches that way trust me. See if you can arrange rentals from people in your community, that way you'll have a chance to try different builds and loadouts to see what fits you. Don't be so hasty in buying an airsoft gun, you may find sniping isn't your thing which is probably what happened to the guy on craigslist.
