Avoid Hi-Caps due to jamming?

So i've purchased my first AEG. G&G UMG.

Ive been browsing the net all night and I was reading up on posts about how you should avoid Hi-cap mags due to jamming and stick to low caps to avoid this because they feed better.

What about mid-caps? 50 rounds in a low cap seems like it could be blown out pretty quick. The AEG I bought comes with 2 low-caps.

Im considering purchasing some mid-caps since it holds more.

Also why the winding mech on the hi-cap? and not the mid or lows?

there is a spring that pushes the bbs in a mid and low cap.
airsoft is about realism thats why most people use mids and low cap mags

If people wanted to keep it realistic they would use realcaps not mid/low caps.
People use Low and Mid caps is b/c they feed alot better than high caps and you don't have to wind the mag. Also most fields don't allow Hicaps due to there capacity.

avoid hi-caps due to gayness

use them for testing the gun at home

leave them at home when you go to a game

One of my teammates has a umg, his hicap feeds terribly.

Midcaps are your best bet if you want a larger ammo capacity.

fixed. Most casual games should allow hicaps. Anyways it really depends on the brand of hicap and the gun that you get the hicap for.

The p90 hicaps I have heard are horrid, how ever I tried two of them and they kept up to my lipo'ed p90.... I guess I musta been one of the lucky few. The mid and low caps for the p90 made by star love to jam and I have even had the TM one jam on me.

As for my AK I got some Star realcaps and they are horriable, they jam and are almost impossible to take apart with out damaging as they glue the "stopper" in place. my TM mid cap has never jammed and my Hicap jammed once because of stick getting in some how.

I do love playing with the low caps but in all honesty sometimes its nice to just take the hicap out and play with out worry of taking a speed loader and everything else down to your staging area. Just use a bit of self control and most people won't even complain that you use a highcap. Its the *I am gonna hold this trigger for 20 minutes and shoot that pieces of wood above your head hoping that I might some how sneak a shot in and/or abuse your good none cheating nature to make you call a hit* idiots that most people don't tend to like.

So in closing if you don't have a vest and what not to carry mags just start with a hicap or two *two ak hicaps is not needed... 1200 rounds = l2 aim but m16 hicaps are only 300 IIRC*. Build your gear from there.

Run what you Brun and have Fun.

Most seasoned players will avoid high-caps because it would be like running with baby rattles. Also a umg is not a s.a.w. We play airsoft because of the realism involed.

Hi Caps won't Jam if you are using BB Bastards brand BB's.
The crappy BB's are not held to the high standards that BB Bastards are famous for. The poor quality BB's have mis shapen BB's that when bulk poured into a hi Cap will go un noticed and jarr the winding / spring and feeding system of a Hi cap. That will stop your game.
This Mid and Low and real Cap's are fanatics of the Milsim experience and will spout much like the Westboro Baptists. Fill your hicaps and spray them till they curl in a corner. Espesially this Guy .............

Anyway hopefully we can do mag limits at SOF since everyone uses hicaps. I find it annoying with folks hosing the AEG while winding the mag. Then players get frustrated and buy hicaps and then it turns into a hosing war .

Not only are Hi-caps prone to jamming, they're more ghey than a bag of dicks.
