Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

turn the gears by hand so that the teeth on the sector gear arent pointed up, they may be mashing into the piston if you didnt use the forward assist before splitting it

ah good point, sometimes the wired go out of place and get into the way of the mechbox, forgot about that

If all else fails you can do 2 things:
1)Take the mechbox top out of the top receiver and try to identify where the fitment problem lies. 2)Take it to a gun doctor in your area. He will likely be able to identify the problem in a minimum of time and show you how to do it properly every time from then on. |

The sector teeth need to be facing down so that the portion without any teeth is at the top of the lower mechbox.
After you align the gears, remove and then re-instal both the hop-up unit and upper mechbox. Make sure that the hop up spring is not bending and pushing the upper mechbox out too far ( a way to check this is when the hop up and upper mechbox are installed in the upper receiver, you should be able to push the rear body pin through the upper receiver and mechbox holes) hope that helps |
