RRV waist molle w/ universal pack?

So.. I bought a clone rrv off ebay for like $25, and I'm pretty happy with it. I also have one of those universal pouches

(the waist strap can be removed)

I'm pretty happy with the chinese quality 1000d pouches, as of right now, all of the 1000D's match (I have 1 condor kangaroo shingle pouch 2x pistol 2x m4) and a few chinese pouches. Anyways, my RRV..ish (it's CB cuz the multicam rrv looked like crap) has a 1x4 grid of molle on the waist and I thought that'd be a good place to put my universal pouch (I'm guessing there's a better name...) and when I tried it on, I could see that if I ran, it would flop around, so is there any way to prevent this without any major modifications?

you can always get some velcro ties and thread them through the waist belt loops on the and through the molle on your belt.

keep heavier objects in the middle pouch and lighter stuff like red rag, bandages in the 2 outer pockets.

the material looks like good quality material, the zipper tab metal is really soft though.

i got 2 of these for a great price and use one for a regular hip bag.

the other I did the same and put it on my molle belt

I've also noticed that they probably assume that you won't be using the waist belt, so the connections are made of a really crappy plastic.

Since the waist belt on my rrv is only like 1.5-2" thick, I think the main problem is the pack wanting to rotate. It's well attached to the belt, but just the belt isn't wide enough to stop it from rotating.

Anyways thanks

feed the velcro loops through the fabric loop, not the plastic D rings.

sorry, missed the belt type

lots of wiggle/waggle room on the belt that way

You could even get some of those 'plastic restraints' (or what ever the heck people are calling them now a days), to secure it most closely to the place of interest?
