G36K from Ares or CA or if you want another armalite you could go with a M15, M16 or even a SR25(more of a DMR) good companys for those would be CA, G&P or Ares

GBBR.. fun to shoot.. and can be made reliable.. but you need to ready to invest some time and $ .. you can get a WE clear receiver for around 450 .. but then you need mags .. a reasonable loadout of mags for outdoor is 10.. ( 300 rounds) and that will run you another 400 to 500 $ My recommendation is get a longer barreled M4 for outdoor to extend your accuracy for field use ..

I'd recommend that (if you like your M4) to stick to a similar rifle. Something that shares mags, batteries, optics, slings, etc...
If not, you'll end up with another set of mags, batteries, potentially different pouches/gear to carry the mags, etc... Pick the style of rifle...then zero in on manufacturer. |

ICS STAR or Ares VFC G&P King Arms CA G&G I range those company from a better to so so quality. The reason is ICS is on the top is not about their external, it's just their internal that I could call it poor man PTW. It might need a bit upgrade like other company but once it's tune correctly, you won't be disappointed.

Submarineman has some ICS guns in, not sure if they are split mechbox though. I'm sure there's some in the classifieds, however.

I would suggest that you avoid King Arms. While they look absolutely outstanding they seem to be very finicky when the weather is cold. I'd suggest Classic Army, they have beautiful bodies and have great quality.
