The East German rain pattern for the WW2 look?
Nope.

You should check out:

As for a cheap German WW2 uniform, not too likely. They go around $100-150 ish.

That could possibly work, the WW2 forum I linked you to would be better to tell you more then I could.

Despite being "Ontario WW2 Airsofters" It's a bit more then just Ontario so no worries on where you are from.

Is it wrong that I want one of those SS uniforms?

I don't do re-enactment.

now, that depends.. do you think you'll start marching other people towards france to start the first expansion of the 1000-year reich?

actually, _i_ wouldn't be comfortable answering that question.. better

"did you serve for the axis during WW2 "

if no, then it's ok to want to look that great (i don't know about the trousers though, might made my ass look fat )

sorry, that last line had me cracking up.. i need to grab a pair of those trousers for my wife and run when she tries them on  i mean, how can anyone be taken seriously when it looks like they're hiding small children strapped to their thighs?

I do believe that those trousers were also standard issue for the original oompa loompas.

But yeah, Nazi Germany had the nicest uniforms. Why can't the good guys ever look that snazzy?

If you're going to do an impression do it right. Right does not mean spending tonnes of dough either. If you do some research you can get a decent impression for <$400. It won't be amazing but it won't be crap either.

Some East German gear from the 1950's and early 1960's come to mind such as marching boots and STG44 mag pouches. Obviously there's more as well.

But if all you do is buy CHEAP East German stuff to save money all your really doing is making a cheap East German impression. Which is fine but just don't believe that it's World War Two. If you stand side by side with someone who has done research and purchased the correct clothing and gear for an Axis World War Two impression you'll see the fail easily.

There are more than enough Hong Kong Harry webstores and ebay stores that sell Axis impressions at reasonable prices.

ATF has a Memorial Day sale coming soon too.
