Many TM Hicapa 5.1 problems, need help!

Today i broke my double safety lever on my TM hi capa by trying to remove it, where could i get one? And i need a new piston head, because my gun leaks as hell and cannot shoot 5 bullets before spreading gas from everywhere. Where could i buy these two parts? And by the way, my hammer doesnt stay cocked anymore. Anyone has a clue why?

Tokyo Model Company has quite a few stock Marui items, otherwise you can buy upgrade parts at almost any HK retailer.

Spewing gas does not sound indicative of the piston head but without more info it's hard to tell.

If your hammer doesn't cock anymore..is that before or after you took the pistol apart? You may have replaced the 3 prong spring incorrectly or....well more info helps

how could you break the safety lever when removing it?

btw...those cost around 30-50$ +shipping ...(when you buy oversea....)
and in canada they can go for 100$...

BTW: it is recommended to be knowing what you do before opening/upgrading any of your airsoft guns....

Gas spewing from the gun is likely a lube issue, put some oil on all the parts associated with the firing mechanism (like the hammer pivot point, valve knocker, etc.)

If your mags themselves leak, tighten the screw on the base of the magazine, this is a typical thing with Hi-Capas.

No mag leaking, fixed with blue silicone, My hammer is now cocking again, but i've got another problem: When i press the trigger, nothing happens, i need to press 3 or 4 times the trigger and then the hammer will decock. Someone knows why? Yes the hammer wasnt cocking because i misplaced the 3 prong spring, i replaced it and now it's okay. Yeah i broke the safety lever because it was already weak, and i just tried to remove it, and broke it. I'm a noob with that gun, i got it yesterday.

You installed the middle prong on the leaf spring wrong. It needs to be over the sear, not under.

Left and right can be found stock as above. OR you can buy STAINLESS STEEL ones from Illusion Kinetics for over $100. They are nice upgrades too.

New piston head? Get one from Illusion Kinetics again, there are alot of upgrades.
Don't forget to use silicone oil.

Problem solved for the trigger, now i need to know why i can shoot only 5 bullet before lacking of gas. Could it be due to the fact that i dont have any o-ring on the piston head?

O-rings, werever you find them on your pistol, mags or anything else is not optional and need to be in good shape and lubricated to work correctly.

they usually provide a seal for something or other and without one I can't imagine anything working properly for you

tac up a pic of everything and we'll tell you why it's not working

O-rings of the piston head needs to be lubed.

Temperature of the room can affect gas.

Maybe you're out of gas?

If you don't have an O-ring on the piston head, then that is your problem. Might as well buy a new piston head. OR go to a hardware store and find on that fits..

If it's a stock hi capa though, it doesn't use normal o-rings. It uses a proprietary cup piston head instead.

so either OP is saying it doesn't have an o-ring, because technically it's true, it uses something else.

Or, the cup piston head is missing. At that point he has a choice of purchasing a new stock one, or upgrading to a better piston head. The latter is better than the former.
