Daytona AKS74U Spetnez [56k/ Phone ALERT]

(By the way new camera so Im not so yea...)
Still Build in progress:

Currently...
--Daytonagun Escort AK GBB Kit
--Daytonagun Modified LCT AKS74U Full Kit (Front End, Receiver, Stock)
--POSP 4X24BM (Rubber piece is nice, but cannot use with goggles. It has the perfect eye relief)
--Palmer Pursuit External Air Airsoft kit
--Striker 24oz CO2 Tank (Its unpractical to use HPA, calculation shows that even with the endothermic effect of CO2, HPA holds less air space wise. The gun does not need more than 140psi)

Coming:
--VFC PBS-4
--G&P Bakelite Magazines
--G&P AK Sling
--Promothesius 6.03mm 407mm Inner barrel

Here's some eye candy. In case you did not know this is a second hand one...Everything's good except front sight a lil wobbly and handguards are crazy wobbly. The only complains is its physically impossible to change the selector. It's so stiff right now. Don't know why (You need a rubber mallet to change the select fire)

My main reason for not doing a drop in GBB kit is that There's no way of knowing if your out of bb's. Or so it seems. What's your take on this?

So did you get the whole thing ordered, or did you just buy the drop-in kit and install it yourself? Also, you have got to do a review and range report, I've been wanting a GBBR setup, but the issues surrounding gas-in-mag systems are a HUGE turnoff. Now if only Justin would do AR kits.....

If you use white bbs, you should still be able to see them flying through the air, You should also have an idea of how many rounds you shot, and have a rough idea when your going to run out

No, G36 uses plastic bodies, and wouldnt be able to withstand the recoil.... Its a shame, isnt it

Thats not a drop in kit actually its the Daytonagun Modified AK, the AK receiver has a few parts punched out and shaved down to fit the Daytonagun firing mechnism.

The hop-up unit is permanently modified into a bigger one piece cylindrical block of steel to take the force on force action of the steel parts moving

When I shoot it I can definitely tell its out of BBs it makes a very distinct noise. I would say the noise is more distinct compared to an AEG. Plus the Gas gun noise is a little louder when theres no BBs shooting out. You can hear a "foomph foomph" sound when BBs come out.

Daytonagun AKS74UN passed onto Kullwarrior by me which was obtained from Daytonagun (Justin) himself

Again this is NOT A DROP IN kit, you cannot just buy the parts and drop it into a AK body as the AK body needs to be modified to fit the parts and the right body must be used as the measurements are made for only LCT or Dboys

Having the Daytonagun is awesome since you can use ANY AEG mags you want meaning you'll have lots of money saved.

Justin actually did make M4 Daytonaguns but those were prototypes and are often hard to produce and more expensive since the parts are more complicated to fit into a M4.

Whereas the AK theres a lot of space to work with and also dust and water won't affect this gun at all. Its almost like a real AK.

The recoil on this Daytonagun will rip the body internally to shreds. Hence why when I asked if Justin would do a P90 he said not possible as it will crack the body in half eventually.

And definitely do not dare a friend to put their finger or face near the moving bolt when firing, it will cut and hurt, not a serious injury but one that can be easily avoided.

Ya, CO2 tanks have better shoots/size ratio than HPA. My 20oz CO2 tank that yields twice more shots, and smaller than my 50inch 3000psi HPA tank.

Plus the endothermic effect with CO2 can be used to cool your beer XD jk lol

This is what I'm trying to copy

I know BS-1 launcher is so rare there's no youtube video at all. PBS-4 will change abit as the suppressor is about the same length as the barrel.

More pictures posted.

Notes:
*YAY!!! This gun is ready for battle!
*95% of my gear is ready (I'm still waiting for an BHI AK pouch to come which makes my load out to 6+1 mags)
*Need replacement hose, but meh I can live without it
*This is still 260mm (6.03mm) innerbarrel though
*The PBS-5 REALLY reduce the noise.....Atleast thats what the neighbor dog tells me. Not sure if I should still upgrade the inner barrel (accessing is a problem already)
*PBS-5 length is approx the same as the innerbarrel currently has. It can increase AKS74U to 430mm from 260mm (I got a 407mm for more concealability) The width...is 99% wider (and length as well) than the 'thing' between your legs)

Someone on trader's airsoft actually got a SR-25....I think he is using a modified ARES SR-25 receiver though.

C02 is less consistent, and doesn't work well in the winter. Also, it can freeze your regulator during sustained fire. If liquid C02 gets inside your gun there is a chance it can damage your internals. Grab a large carbon fibre compressed air tank. From a 45/4500 tank you should get a days worth of shots, if not get a 88/4500, and a paintball tank pouch.

Btw nice ak! I'd get a cobra sight for that though..
