M16 Rebuild

I have the shell of a Marui M16 that i'd like to get working. I was looking at which motor to buy for it but then realised I had both and EG 1000 and a Classic Army High Torque knocking about. Which one shall I stick in it? Which gearbox would you guys suggest to pair up with? I'm looking to use it at woodland sites so i'm looking for 350 fps max but it's not that important to me that it's high fps.
Cheers for looking.

Classic Army "High Torque" motors are generally crap, or not really "High Torque" at all.

Use the TM motor, they're awesome.

Ok cool. Do you think it'd pair up well with a DBoys gearbox as someone local has one for sale.

It would pair up good with anything. But just saying "a DBoys gearbox someone has for sale" is like saying "will this engine work good for a car this guy is selling".

Yes, and they also make only gearbox shells, which could have any variety of internals that exist inside it. Or the same thing if the gearbox has been modified.

Just saying "Dboys gearbox" is like saying "car engine". But nonetheless that EG1000 should work good.
