.28 or bust. At least, when they're available. I was stuck with .25 all last summer and was not a happy camper.

I used .28s all year last year and have started out that way this year. I have procured 20 bags of KSC .30s that I am going to start using when the weather warms up again.

I used .25s before the .28s...it is remarkable the difference .03grams can make, especially for outdoors in the bush.

I use .25's because they are readily available, probably would use .28s if I could get them

Sub 400fps, .25g are best both for price, quantity and ballistic.

.30g and up are more adequate for sniping purpose.

I have used 0.28s for a few years and I am quite happy. I find that it is more stable than lower weights

You are kidding, right? 0.25g are just barely even a minimum for outdoor usage in any gun (I won't even use them in my pistols unless it's a springer). The heavier the better, to a point.

0.28g pwns 0.25g in any gun. 0.30g pwns 0.28g, especially with the Bastards, there is no velocity difference (from my testing). I'd use 0.30g full time in all my guns if the quantity vs. price was better.

I swear by .28 Bastard's in the bush. Cuts through and makes loud thwacks.

Strange that the poll doesn't reflect the consensus of this thread...

C'mon, .28 fans! vote now and vote often, LOL!
