Yeah I decided to reenact this unit as many French-Canadians were part of it.

No members of my familly were in it however, but I created my own "character".

Plus, they kicked ass

One thing I heard about them, was when they were using Johnson machine guns, they'd fire 8 rounds than throw an empty mag on rocks. The german would then show up thinking they were reloading.

Nice loadout and nice Kar98k, I only wish I could get my hands on one...

I am the first one on the right; I am still working on my loadout (still missing a K98 bayonet)

And it's super fun to shoot them, they got so many metal parts on them that you can hear them get hit from really far

Okay, I gotta show off a tad too...

From this Fall's "Leningrad" game. Me and DA kicked some ass on the final stationary defence scenario. Good times. Also included is one from the Overlord at the beginning of last Summer. 2012's game is gonna be HUGE!

Nice set up gents!

Do I see a Bersaglieri in the background?

Hmm I don't think I have posted this before, so might as well toss it in here.
My (ungarische Nr.1) 25. Waffen-Grenadier Division der SS get up.
These guys fought around the SS training camp at Neuhammer, Silesia in February of 1945, than were transferred to Austria in March, '45 where they fought until the armistice on May 8th.

Thanks ! Building a Lee-enfield will be tricky - the canadian will surely need recruits to face the might of the Wehrmacht .

Pont-Rouge near Quebec city. We were very lucky, we had light snow for two days before the game, but it was relatively warm on Saturday for the game. Cant wait to host another game in the snow, probably in march.
