Any scope worth any value will have adjustable windage and elevation... I can't even think of a scope that's available WITHOUT those adjustments...

I've tried these about 2 years ago.
It doesn't always work, though I can't explain why.
I *think* it's because I zero'd the scope at home before I actually set the hop at the field.
I don't have the space anymore ( living in a apartment now ), can anyone confirm this?

I bought one of those, a CenterPoint brand for about forty dollars from a Cdn Tire. Mine is good for calibers from .177 to 12 gauge shotguns.

Is is great for the initial sighting in of your optics but you'll still need to do some target practice and adjust the elevation.

How do you know if the cheap laser boresight itself is calibrated? Is the beam coming out actually coming out straight?

I have precision laser collimator for my telescope and that has calibration screws on the sides and comes calibrated from the factory.

Good question.
My CenterPoint boresighter has no alignment setscrews but its just for lining up your sights/scope.
It's now meant to be an acurate tool.
