The TM is not 1:1.
Reports out of Germany on the VFC are not stellar. Be the guy PH, try out the VFC for Canada. Or get your brother to hookup some trigger time in HK.

Any VFC GBBR rifle will be shit. they've always been shit, and stay shit no matter the aftermarket parts and support.
VFC can make their guns look as beautiful as they can, buy its garbage. 1:1 or not. |

Nice nice nice.
Aftermarket companies will take care of defects or bug. The VFC Glock is a beauty. |

Ripped from the headlines in HK
held and fired one of these the other day. 28C ambient on greengas with 0.2g bbs. Not impressed, really. It's lighter than the TM. Noticeably lighter, even fully loaded. The plastic quality seems cheap to me, especially compared to the wonderful job VFC did with their G36 GBBrs. The detailing is nice, the trades are nice and the flip up sights are nice. It's also quite nice in the hand, more comfortable than the TM (mainly because I have enormous gorilla hands). The magazine is bigger than an Mp5 mag, it's quite a chunky monkey. Which is confusing, because the cooldown is awful. Even in a heated shop, about 28C ambient, I could only JUST get an entire mag out in SEMI. Full auto mag dump is just impossible. Even the TM can do a full mag dump on auto. Also, recoil was eh. The action was sluggish. It also misfed about 5/6 shots on full auto. No misfeeds on semi though. The biggest single gripe I have about it? It doesn't come with fucking side rails. Also it really felt like it was made of cheap plastic. I was really taken aback when I picked it up, because it looks nice and sexy, but it feels like a spring pistol. Magazine out I could make the pistol grip flex by squeezing it between my thumb and forefinger.

Guys, if we go ask Taiwan players that already got this gun, what would be the most important questions regarding its performance and/or potential problems? I don't know enough about GBBs to ask them good questions.
One guy told me he can get 70 rounds full auto with a full mag of gas, I assume he means he emptied a mag of BB in full auto and refill the BBs, and get another 20-30 rounds. Does that sounds too good to be true? And I don't have other informations of his test, such as the temperature and gas type…

What you want is a definitive answer to this "cooldown" problem that I firmly believe isn't even cooldown!
I think 60-70 shots on auto is optimistic, hell it's optimistic with an M4 sized magazine, but I'm confident with a little lube in the right places these things will easily dump a magazine on auto, maybe with enough left for a few more after a refil. I will find this out for myself early next week anyway as mine is on a UPS plane as we speak...lol |
