the little reassess on the front of the magazine is for the mag release. The lip on the mag and the mag release its self can grime up and stop the mags from seating properly. Clean the mag lip and the mag release and try again.

Proper trades & the ASGK mark usually means japan

It is not about japan vs taiwan.

You want to know if your pistol is a system 7, aka ns2 (2006 - now) or original ksc/kwa (1992 - 2006)

IIRC, KSC Japan marks their brand name under the slide release...

Pop off your slide release and take a good look.

I was just going to say that. Looking at my S7 Taiwan KSC USP right now, KSC logo is under the slide release.

I used to have a non-S7 Taiwan USP as well, both of my USP Serial Numbers are 25-094705, if that helps at all.

I know it's an NS2 - no arguments - the box it came in says so :P - its got no asgk markings i can find even disassembled. slide is metal and with the 380 FPS i"m assuming at this point that it's a taiwan version - i was just worried that japan mags wouldn't fit if i bought em but I can't see why not?

and in answer to styrak's question yep I chrono'd with standard TSD 0.2's and a pretty constant 385 on a fresh fill of prop.
