Good point Hope the shitty reply was funny though

That being said, many of the "real" products out there are stupidly overpriced as well. So sometimes a copy at half the price is just as good (or almost) as the real thing.
Crunch makes valid points. Phantom/Pantac is a great example of a knock-off being of great quality and material.

There is something people buying knock off camo should also consider. IR treatment. Besides the fading, most fake camos show extremly bright under night vision. If you are never going to play a milsim or skirmish at night then you have no worries, but even the cheapest Nightvision will show you the fake camo.

I was going to mention this.

I have footage from our night game where one guy looks like a streetlight, and I didn't see his partner until he moved. Clothing which isn't IR treated, literally glows white under nightvision.

Not the greatest example, but this is something I shot on Gen3 Goggles (with my camera placed at the eyecup). It is PITCH black (I had to be guided by a buddy grabbing my vest because my natural night vision was washed from the camera screen), at 2:17, you can see the guy laying down, his vest is IR treated, but his camo isn't, and so it glows.

If it wasnt so cost prohibitive I would reskin my Huang Cyre Chassis with the real material. Thankfully my pouches cover a great deal of property (most have the IR coating) on the armour and I rarely get to play. maybe in my 2012 airsoft budget (If I bother doing that, then I'd do the MC webbing and IR treated buckles).

I have bought camo from Airsoft-Club and have used it in a few games..only washed it once..No color loss or seams opening up yet. Only bad thing was when I washed it I found a button in the washer off one of the cargo pockets on my pants. Will say I can be hard on buttons so may have been me and not the product alone.

Very cool info on (and video) about the IR. I can't see me doing a night Op in my area but it's good to know if it ever comes up..

Theoretically IR Treated BDU's are not supposed to be for sale outside the US... "Theoretically"

I've put in a small order to test some of their products. I got the Airsoft Molle Triple Mag Pouch, a shemagh and gloves. I'll do a quick review on the mag pouch when it arrives.

I've used just about every type of CADPAT BDU that is available and can say that Frontenac and the Dropzone Ops BDU's are the only ones which show little to no fading. Frontenac fades a little after a shitload of washes and the Dropzone stuff does not fade at all. Parklands is complete shit
