You guys are lucky, or I am doing something wrong. My frigging tunic (one pair) and all 3 pants are 3rd gen and are fading alooot. I wash like what, once every 2-3 days (Because I wear underwear that I wash everyday) Who knows, maybe snow/salt is harder on the material..? Meh. Still fades less then frigging first gen and 2nd gen. I am not complaining. It's half decent shit.

Have you guys ever thought about what kinds of detergent you use? Because I am pretty sure it also depends on the chemiclas you put on them. Another thing about them it believe it or not depends on how much you sweat in them. Ever noticed white shit from in places you have sweat when it's dried? pretty gross but this also slowley takes a toll on the fabric and inks.
Also, do any of you have the real CF CADPATs? cause the real cf stuff has a special anti-infra red coating on it that helps the combats fade a bit. lol dont know if this helped or not jus thought id my idea out there. |

....Uhh man, most of us *are* talking about our issue ones. And while you do sweat in your combats the shirt underneath does a good job of soaking that up... they just fade. A lot. Some of the older guys around the armouries have combats so faded they're almost white..... Besides, the title says "Gen1, Gen2, Gen3... difference" He's refering to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation of ISSUE combats.
