What's the output of the charger?

Yeah, you must know the output of your charger first, and then the mAh of your battery, which you stated as 450.
So you take your charger output (in mA / milliamps), and divide your battery mAh rating by this output current. So if you have 450 mAh battery, and a 200 mA charger, then you only need 450/200 hours or 2:15. But 2.5H would be a safe charging time. So once you know the output current of your charger, then just do this and you know your charge time!

Actually, you have to multiply that final result by 1.2 to be accurate. Ni-Mah batteries only hold about 80% of the power put into them.

Thank you all for such a quick answer. Good thing i ask cause i already charge the battery 2 time for 4 hours(like id said in the manual). So i have a 250mA and my battery is a 450mA
so if i make the division it make 1.8 x 1.2 = 2.16 or 2h10min, it a huge difference from 4h, it will spare some good battery life. |
