Question M4 Scope Mounting Problem

I recently bought a G&G M4 carbine for my collection (No, I don't play airsoft). I wanted to put a scope on it and i realized that the standard triangular front sight got in the way if i mounted a scope. After doing some research, I found out that i can:

A: Get a scope mount for the carrying handle.
B: Get a flip-up replacement front sight.
C: Get a high enough scope mount.

As an airsoft collector and not a real player, I seldom take apart my guns nor do I really know much about the internals as I don't actually fire them (asides for once to make sure they work), so that elliminates option B (I don't want to reinstall a new front sight unless someone can tell me how to =D). I have seen a great number of videos on option A and so I have no problem with that except I didn't want to waste money purchasing that (dont't like playing for shipping but I will buy it if its the only option).
So my question is, "Is it possible to get a scope mount that when i mount my scope and look throught it, the front sights won't be obstructing my view and if yes, where can I buy this."
Also, if anyone knows the specific heights of standard scope mounts (high profile, medium profile and low profile), it would be deeply appreciated.

You will need at least med or high mounts. Low mounts do not work with m4's. That said we also need to know how big your scope is so we can make sure that they aren't 6 feet tall. My 4X32 required med high mounts.

I guess a little bit has to do with the scope magnification. I run RS Elcan ,it's 3.4x and I can hardly see the front sight, lower magnification might be a problem. And even an EOtech will be high enough ,it will look like the dot is on top of your front sight .

Replace the front sight with a gas block.

Don't take this the wrong way, but how can you have a collection and not play...it's like having cake, but not wanting to eat it!

Just throwing this out, but if you don't actually shoot your guns and they're basically display pieces, does it really matter that your front sight is in the way? It's just for appearance anyway.

Being a collector, you probably don't want a bunch of bits laying around. Just get a carry handle mount and be done with it. It will put just about any scope well above the iron sights simply because it is mounted about the irons. It will not impede the use of iron sights either.

The stock front sights will only get in the way if you mount a scope directly onto the rails without a proper riser or mid-high mounting rings.

IMHO, high mounts look weird. Scope gets caught on stuff too.
