Yeah there are slight differences in colors etc, dark green instead of black, Slightly different patterns, likely due to manufacturers. Why do you not think there are reproductions out of the east bloc.
When I was in Kiev you had to watch for the repros of everything you can think of. And that was told to me by native Ukrainians. When we were in shops, my friend would show me the stuff, and if you know what to look for it is obvious. And I'll bet half the designer stores there sell counterfeit goods. Let alone non designer shops.
I'm not surprised or anything, they have a saying there.... "That is Ukraine" So I was kind of expecting it. Just annoyed, and have to deal with it. And I will just have to send my friend on a hunt for the real stuff.

EDIT: Things were resolved with Vlad at sovietarmystuff.com. I recieved a partial refund due to the error in product. Kudos to sovietarmystuff.com for their great customer service. Communication was great and resolution was quick. Thanks again Vlad.

Uhm, the link he provided describes it as "Ukrainian Army Marine Spetsnaz Camo Uniform Suit BDU" so I'm pretty sure that's why he called it Marine.

Besides. I've dealt with a shit load of repo's. I have 4 Waffen SS kits. And my repo's re no where close to being THIS bad.

besides. if it's a manufacturer defect, it should be stated. But usually a good way to tell if its a repo is if they got colours wrong....not to mention the stitching and patches being on wrong.

But, its good that a retailer will correct their mistakes. I wanted some winter flora as well.

Deal with Dmitry from Soviet-Propaganda, top notch quality service and reasonable prices.

I don't know much about repro east bloc stuff but the only thing I have heard is what Vivisector said about KLMK and Berezka suits and uniforms that are made in Pakistan, those are quite frequent and I would double check when buying from eBay.

colors were ok.... not very thick material, and terrible stitching, the main problems. absolutly not what was in the photos.

I second that 100%. He did screw up on my order, however said he got them like that and usually they do come with the extra pouches. (The 2 6sh92's I bought didn't come with that extra ak mag pouch.)

But he was really helpful and did my order quick. Considering its coming from Russia, I'm not to unhappy about the missed pouches. Would order from him again.

Yeah Thanks Conscript, I have looked at their site. Some nice stuff there.
A new development to add. I had also ordered a helmet cover, and boonie hat before I had recieved the BDUs. Today I received the helmet cover (excellent quality by the way), But NO boonie.
I sent them an email through their regular website, as the eBay shop is showing "No longer registered". I paid with Paypal, so it will be covered if I don't get the boonie hat. But again, I am waiting to resolve an issue.
