Question British Paratrooper pants?

I was wondering where I could find British paratrooper BDU's. I was given a woodland camo BDU jacket from my dad and I have been wondering if I could get a bottoms for them. He tells me that he got the jacket around 1976 when my grandmother went to England that year. Any help would be appreciative and thank you in advance

Just pick up any generic British issue trousers.
I'm assuming your have yourself a para smock, probably the P68 or P85 pattern (if you can post a picture of it I can ID it properly). The Para never had a special set of trousers, but instead used the general issue trousers when jumping, so; P68, P85, S95 or OD lightweights would do you fine.

Oh yeah, British kit is combats...not BDU's...thats for the spam kit

Fuck me buddy, you have yourself a rare piece there! The shirt you have was made for the Tanzanian Army back in the day by a Canadian company (Peerless) in the CF pattern.

If you are looking for trousers to go with the jacket and you cannot find the dpm trousers, you can also use surplus Dutch DPM pants. The colouration is the same as your jacket. Alternatively, you could just wear it with Canadian pine green combat pants and sort of have a quasi Airborne Rgt look.

However P68 smocks were worn well into the '90's, so seeing them mixed with P85 wouldn't be out of the ordinary

The closest place to you I'd seen it was at Supply Sergeant in Edmonton. Army Issue might have some aswell. But if you use eBay you can probably get some trousers there aswell
