diffrence between CIRAS'

wondering what the diffrence is between land version ciras and the mc or other types i here about?
they seem by the pictures to all look similar

could some one please explain to me the diffrences between the types?

Maritime CIRASs' have a cord that, if pulled, releases the vest from your body by falling apart. Great for escapes.

The Land version does not fall apart.

incorrect. they both do, the maritime is on top of the chest plate, the land is on the side of the chest plate.

the main difference is the real estate, cut and comfort. most guys like how high the maritimes front plate is, the land i believe is wider. (more pals across, mar has more pals up). the maritime does up on the sides where as the land does up in the front center. that again is a personal preference. some guys find the land hard to open w/ pouches on, i find it more secure than the sides, which i find a pain in the asss to get to set propperly. youll have to try them both out to see what you like, i love the land, but the mar is more popular with players.

When I had the Maritime CIRAS, I found it to be a bit loose because of the elastic straps on the side. The Land has no elastic straps and to me, has a more secure fit. It doesn't 'flop' around like the maritime version does.

Some people like that, others don't. I just prefer my rig to be nice and secure against my body.

The trick with doing up the Land CIRAS is to take the mags out of the front pouches and tuck the front panel under your chin while doing it up. Or have a buddy do it up for you.
