ICS or G&G?

Alright, I'm looking for a reliable and solid M4 carbine that will look great, hit hard and last a long time. Which would be a better choice, the ICS M4 or the G&G GR16 R4C?

I know G&G is shady when it comes to consistency, particularily with quality control and internals, but the greyish receiver the ICS has turns me off.

The R4C for those who may not have seen it. The battery is stored in the ReadyMag clip.

-1 for battery in the ready mag. balance would be weird with the weight of the battery there.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like ICS is the way to go on this one. Can I theoretically install a weaver rail under the handguard, or would that just end up looking silly?

The kits sold for AR handguards by Leaper's are meant for real AR handguards, and don't work on airsoft ones. Get the correct one from an airsoft retailer.

Best off getting an aftermarket front handguard i.e. CASV, RAS, SIR, or even just an ole ICS RAS.. but most for sale have that stuff on it already.

hey a little note was at cablea's here in winnipeg and was talking to jay he is hoping to have g&g airsoft in starting in march !!!! sweet i know it is still clear top but thats still great news for people just talked to the age verifer here glen on friday so should be all done up and on my way to the classified in a few days .. sweet classified goodness lol well so i here grin ..

From what I hear, ICS and G&G are both good, but it depends on your budget. ICS are more expensive.

Please take the time to fill in your location. You don't have to say where in Waterloo, or even where in Ontario. Heck, just Ontario would do.
