hi capa front sight problem !!
I just played some skirmish today with my hi capa (with metal slide installed) and the front sight fell off. When I tried to reinstall it, the fitment was so loose. Is there any trick to fix this or do I have to buy a replacement?>

I used Loctite, realistically any sort of instant glue that works on metal should do....just make sure it's placed properly before you do it...

What I've done, is place a paper towel or cardboard shim underneath while installing. Stays solid.

If the sight is so loose it just slides back and forth...I'd consider pinning the base...
You can very carefully nip the edge of the base with a punch and it'll create a bump that will wedge into place. But be careful...the base doesn't have a whole lot to it. Same with the slide...you can dimple the dovetail slot after the sight is in. I'd then put a tiny/half drop of crazy glue on it once it's in place...use a pin, put the crazy glue on the pin and place it where you want it. (otherwise it'll run). Best of luck, Tys |

thanks guys, I followed sir styrak method since it is the simplest one and it works just fine. Too afraid to try sir racing maniak's since I might change slide someday and I might want to re use the sight. Sir tyson: I think your method would need a lot of skill and I'm not fit to it
