It appears KWA made some serious miscalculations when designing this BBU.

(Those are not my pictures. I simply borrowed them from ASR's "Archerandy87".)

Holy shieeeeeat.

HHmmmm....I just received one of these (Berreta M9 version), brand spanking new. I've only run about 4 mags through it, and it preforms flawlessly....but I guess I'll have to start with the periodic inspections a little sooner than expected.

Nice heads up though.
Thanks;

KWA PTPs Suck large camel balz...had a M9 for about 5 seconds!!!

First shot snapped part of the blowback nozzel, called kwa got replacement even installed from one of their "professional" technicians, tried again....part of the outbarrel that keeps the recoil bar in place snaps....call again..send me new part...reinstall.....try gun for 2 nd mag!!!!!!!! EVER.,,....blowback mechanism and recoil bar misaligned completely....proceed to sell gun off as parts...

wow...KWA was like the most amazing airsoft experience ever...about as enjoyable as getting the top layer of my nutsac torn off by a flying ban saw...

Clearly their is no coincidence that their design and QC FOR GBBS are both dog shit...

Can't say anything about their AEG's ...nor will i ever be in a position to do so anytime soon....

Just my two cents....

If the performance numbers in that thread is accurate, I'd be willing to pick up one of these once they fix the nozzle problem. Looks like the nozzle simply isn't strong enough to deal with the pressure, so that should be corrected by new nozzle made from better plastic (or even using duster instead).

Hmmm... I've got 200ish rounds through mine so far. A quick strip down, and no signs of wear yet. Guess I'll just have to keep plugging away until something lets go.

Other then the looming spectre of catastrophic failure, so far my P226 PTP is great. Powerful, crisp, and accurate. Feels outstanding in the hand too.

DarkAngel on these forums can get you any part you need from KWA incase something happens.

Wait, does this problem only apply to KWA M9s and P226s or does it apply to all their guns?

Just the PTP line of guns as they're 1st Gen. Guns they've had for awhile like the Glocks are solid.

it's a shame that these problems had to arise..
KWA had the right idea..1:1 ratio of RS, hi-quality alloy steel frame/slide.. not to mention the power..

imo, definately worth a good consideration once the problems are sorted out

I was considering selling off my TM P226 and getting one of these. Looks like I'll wait it out for a while now...

I got my P226 PTP last week, only put about 20 bbs through it. Hoping this doesn't happen to me. Skladfin, I'll have it at the game tomorrow if you want to see what it feels like, it's a heavy beast.

Wow. I guess I should have read this earlier. It happened to me. Does the KSC P226 have the same problem too?
