lol...very funny answers...that means nobody really knows (besides ILLuison) how does this go.

Well, yesterday my friend give me his PSG-1, and it's my fisrt time with this model. I've got the mechbox assembled, but i think the trigger isn't in the right position 'cause is some kind of loose... i dont know really if that's why the gun doesn't work. Battery is charged, but i think the problem is on the assembly of the switch assembly or in the trigger position.

Here are some pics of what i've done...

I will really appreciate if someone with real experience could give me a hand on this.

And yes, Customs here are crap, thats why some guys here prefer to import dissasembled airsoft guns in order to avoid custom problems.

thks

Buenos dias,

I was just in Lima 2 weeks ago and climbed the Inca trail. Beautiful city - beautiful country.

I haven't worked on a PSG-1 in a while, so unfortunately, off the top of my head, I can't recall how the switch assembly goes together. Once I have it in front of me, I can figure it out, but at this time, I am unable to help you.

I'm trying to see what's going on with your trigger assembly, but the lighting is very low for those pictures. If you could take the pictures again with more light (especially on the dark areas), that could help me identify your issue.

thanks for your help!

Note: after i assemble the mechbox, the trigger is "loose" (i mean that it has no such other part to which can make any pull or push function)..hope you understand what i mean..

The trigger is suppose to be loose. You won't get tension on it until you slide the switch assembly in place. The springs inside it create the tension against the trigger.

The attached file should help. Click on the thumbnail.

Other than that, I can't help you much. Again, I need to have all the components in front of me to figure it out. I think your images are missing some parts of the assembly.
