Ghille head!!
Hey guys,
I wear a JT fullcoverage camo mask, but find that the head portion of the mask doesnt really blend with the environment compared to the rest of my camo. There seems to be a dull shine to it in daylight. So my question to you guys is: What type of material could one use to craft some sort of scrim for my hemelt. pics added ![]() ![]() ![]()

To me, I think cut up pieces of garbage bag black/green, not the shiney ones.

OR, you could try jute / burlap scrim. (Cut up pieces of jute and/or burlap).

Or you could just go to CT and pick up some Krylon black/green/whatever and get rid of that shine...I also hear bbq paint is good too.
EDIT - My bad. Just re-read OP and realized its already "painted"

its just for my helmet. If you read in my post, the plastic had a easy give away shine in the bush. Im not wearing a full suit as i do not play the "sniper" role.

Get rid of the falk leaves. Weather the jute twines so they are messy and "curly". It will look more natural that way. Ten attach local vegetation to it.
The false leaves are shiny and won't match the color and shape of the local vegetation. The idea behind a ghillie is to break the human shape and then blend in with the background. Since our engagement are inside 300 feets, you need to be very picky with your camo if you plan on staying undetected. But if you don't snipe and just want a good camo, your setup is good.
