problem with remove G&G SCAR flash hider!
problem with G&G SCAR flash hider! seems stuck right on the outer berral, can't even turn it! anyone know why?
 some one says need to heat it up to melt the glue ibnside! so anyone know this please help!!

there is no screw on it!
there is no screw on it! it's not like an M4 with a set screw on the bottem or top this G&G SCAR is just with a flash hider it should be able to twist off but i tryed everything not working!

i had the same problem on mine.
It's super glued on it. Waiting to see how you do it !

I have no experience with this but I acetone can loosen superglue. Give it a good soak in acetone and see if it will come off that way. It might take a while for the acetone to work its way in there though so I'd give it at least a day. No guarantees though...

acetone will not do anything to your gun. Apart from paint and plastic... lol. It will eat away at most paints and plastics.

Buy a new outerbarrel will solve it much quicker. If not, try soaking the whole flashider into a cup of rubbing alocohol. leave it in there for a day and try to see if the alcohol would tear down the glue inside.

I just got my G&G scar a week or so ago and i got my flash-hider off. It was a pain but not that hard. Just remove the barrel by taking off the lower rail via the two screws, then remove the two grub screws holding the barrel in and then slide the barrel out, its a tight fit so you might have to work it a little but its fairly easy...once it is out place the end that was inside the receiver into a towel and twist the barrel so that it grabs the fabric and is wound up tight in the towel (make sure you wind it the right way so it doesnt unwind when you start to twist the flash-hider), this makes it super easy to hold while applying pressure to the other end. Then either pad the flash hider with something and latch on with some vice grips or stick a screw driver through the openings in the hider and twist that sucker as hard as you can (remember its a counterclockwise thread so you have to twist clockwise when looking down the muzzel), i started with the vice grips but the ones i had were too small so i switched to the screwdriver. It takes alot of force, but amazingly i did not damage my flash-hider.

I had the same problem with my G&G CQB-H when I got it... I wanted to remove the birdcage off the rifle to remove the orange tip properly. What I did was take an open box wrench that fit the flats of the birdcage...and just smacked the wrench clockwise several times. the shock loosened the locktite they used. Birdcage was removed with no problems...
