why not just get a pellet gun if your going to shoot in your back yard? its easier to get, cheaper, and of better quality then a clearsoft clone.

That, and the type of sniper rifle you are looking for would be nowhere NEAR $200.
The most $200 will get you is a moderate/decent used GBB (pistol).
I found one online at an American site for $159.99

Why is there such a great price difference comparing Canada with the States?

+1 to pellet guns. Pumping my seem like a chore, but 5 times and you're ready to blast a hole through plywood (German pellet guns > Canadian Pellet guns).

The US is a free spirit when it comes to firearms and anything that looks like, resembles, acts like or is the third cousin twice removed of a firearm.

Canada has strict laws regarding firearms and anything remotely to do with them.

Er, no, no, if you want to dick around in your back yard, don't get any sort of gun at all.

As immortalundead and others said, if you actually want to target shoot, get an air rifle instead. With regards to accuracy and power, airsoft utterly blows by comparison. It would also be easier to aquire, less expensive, and be a little less likely to get you shot by a cop.

CHAD,

ur best bet would be an airsoft slingshot, I can make a custom one for you for as low as $100, comes with taped parts of a v3 mechbox and a the actual rubber says airsoft on it.

you can put maybe 10 bb's in it and it is a super sniper, 10 shots one kill.

no...but in all honesty,

dont get anything airsoft if you are using it for backyard play.....wait a bit, get an actual aeg and play real games....backyard play is bound to get negative attention one way or another.
