The suppressor what custom made for me by a guy out here, he did an amazing job!
Duty belts don't seem to fit big fat guys like me. As for granades, I have cyclender granade launcher that bady is heavy, I don't use it. Or maybe you prop granades, I saw some one had some but that the time I thought that they were too much for me. I have a gas mas bag but it is canvice or something, I worried I destory it.

Hello all, thought this was the ideal post to introduce myself as a new member of this forum.
![]() I have only been involved in airsoft for about seven months now, but decided that Eastern-Bloc lodouts were 'my thing' very early on. A small group of friends and I started our own modest Eastern-Bloc/OPFOR team called 'Team AKA' and are having a lot of fun with this... Here's my Spring season loadout, based on Bekas Tigr BDUs, a M23 Pioneer rig and trusty CYMA wood and metal AKM (with Bulgarian waffle mags)... ![]() We are just changing over to our new Summer season uniforms - Bekas Flecktar-D BDUs - but with the British weather we will probably only get to use these a couple of times before we change again to our Winter loadouts! LOL ![]() Regards and salutations to all other Eastern-Bloc Comrades! ![]()

Oh tell me about it!
![]() I really struggle - though I have managed to loose a bit of weight since I started airsoft, so all that running about seems to be doing me good (I work in an office in front of a computer all day)...But even so, I am a long way from fitting the svelte Russian belt sizes so cheat and use a US pistol belt. ![]() What I have discovered that I find useful is belt extenders - they are quite common and add a few inches to the normal duty belt... ![]()

Tell me about it! I had to buy 2 service belts and get them stitched together professionally (my ample weatern frame doesnt suit the Russian, peasant, teenage, conscript attire..)
luckily, they are quite cheap.

Pretty sure you're thinking of the ak108, which is the current Russian military issue rifle. I imagine that some of the troops still use ak's with wood, but the 108 is standard.

The current service long arm in the Russian Army (infantry) is the AK-74M, not the AK108. The AK108 is a 5.56mm chambered experimental/commercial offering. On the wood issue, the issue AK74s now all have black polymer furniture. However, there is some evidence to show that experienced troops in Chechnya have been using older AKMs (wood furniture), because of it's harder hitting 7.62mm x 39mm ammunition. Wooden furnitured AK74 series don't seem to be issue in the European theatre any longer, and outside of Europe the AKM/AKMS seems to - still - be the predominant AK on offer.

Alright, I always thought it was the ak108 for some reason. Thanks for that ![]() |

Really nice loadout... Russian ballistic vests are VERY expensive! I tend not to use them myself as my main loadout is a Spetsnaz loadout rather than main line infantry... You can get an idea about what they look like and where to get them from the Read Alliance forum, or search Militaryphoto.net (loads of good Russian infantry photos on both these sites). On the sidearm, that's a big problem with those that like Eastern Bloc loadouts... Basically, there isn't any Russian GBB or AEP available at all! - What a lot of people do is cheat a bit and there are three options for doing this:- Option 1: SIG P232 or Walther PPK (both resemble the Russian Makarov pistol, KSC does a nice P232)... Option 2: Cz75 or Cz75D (ASG has just produced a non-blowback gas Cz75D) ![]() If you are doing a Russian sniper loadout, a lot of people like the TM Skorpion (or clones). Nice backup gun! ![]() Good luck! Keep us up to date with your loadouts! ![]()

Yeah I am starting to get the impression that to get russian body armor I may be have to sell my body to a russian. I was wonder how much of a no no it ist to wear some like the black armor you see around every where. I beleive it is a knock off of blackhawk armor.
As for side arms I had thought about both the Cz75 and the Skorpion, but there is a few issues. I beleive the Cz75 is a Chek gun, as well as the Skorpion. Second I am not a huge fan off Gbb guns. I have an interest in the Skorpion due to the up-grade choices and the interduction of Li-Po batterys. I have been thinking about a SF load out but I would have to get a few things: Ak-74su and suppressor (pbs-5) Mags to match the 5.45 round. Camo M1 BDU Russian Tactical Vest M22 a pair of black knee pads Black 3 hole ski mask not mention all the belts and buckels. Currently with my disablity the cost of getting a new kit would be far far too great. As well as I would like to upgrade to a good gun and sell this peice.

If you look on ebay right now there is a store that has just got in some of the new Russian body armor. I think the price is around $350 shipping included.

Wore my new VDV (paratrooper) Recon Scout loadout last Sunday, but - unfortunately - I forgot to take a camera, and so did everyone else!
So I've had to recreate the loadout by doing a sketch! ![]() ![]() A couple of other new items I added to the loudout were a new Soviet era officer's belt and a Vostok VDV paratrooper's watch... ![]() ![]() Other items in the loadout: > M23 Pioneer chest rig > Telnyashka Para Vest > Kalash RK05 AK-74M ![]()
